Johnson is a professional musician and environmental activist, and has been producing music, recording and touring internationally for 20 years. Johnson's band, Salem, has played at the Winter X Games in Aspen among other venues, and has film soundtracks with Warren Miller, Hiroyuki Yamada and a song in the 2009 ESPN X Games CD compilation. 11-12 Cycling for Cystinosis. Calling all bike riders looking for a good cause – including kids! Registration is now open for the 2nd annual Cycling for Cystinosis fundraiser held in honor of Henry Sturgis, a four-year-old Sandpoint boy with a rare, fatal disease called cystinosis. Participants in the team relay road ride will raise pledges and see how many laps they can bike ride in 24 hours, beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday and ending at 11 a.m. Sunday. New this year is the Kids' Ride, a four-mile loop for kids 14 and under. Participants, volunteers and sponsors are needed for this year's event, which takes place north of Sandpoint in the Selle Valley. Overnight camping accommodations are available. 24 Hanged: A History of Idaho Executions. Hope Memorial Community Center, 415 Wellington Pl., hosts this Idaho Humanities Council presentation by Kathy Deinhart Hill at 7 p.m. \"Hanged\" is a collection of stories detailing the lives and crimes of the 26 men who faced Idaho's justice system and were given the ultimate penalty - death by hanging. The lives of these desperate men, including how they came to Idaho, what they did while they were here, and what drove them to their crimes will be the focus of the presentation. Pictures, newspaper headlines, trial and prison records will also be a part of the presentation. Hill is a retired teacher living in McCall.
