Microbrews, music, mountains ... It's a tempting trio of elements, combined to create the 18th annual Fall Fest at Schweitzer Mountain Resort Saturday, Sept. 4, and Sunday, Sept. 5. Browse through the tasting tents with a souvenir mug or stein in hand and sample 20 of the Northwest's finest microbrews, plus enjoy wine tastings and soda tastings for the kids. Adding to the festivities is live music throughout the weekend: Saturday's lineup includes Eclectic Approach and Staxx Brothers from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday's lineup features Albeni Falls Pipes and Drums, Finn Riggins, and Larry & His Flask from 11:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Also enjoy chairlift rides, special kids' activities, and more in this summer finale celebration. And don't forget to toast the arrival of the first signs of snow! View more details at the Fall Fest fact sheet (72KB pdf) or visit Schweitzer.com.
