18 Girls Pint Out Night. Idaho Pour Authority, 203 Cedar St., hosts Girls Pint Out Night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cool chicks! Great beer! No dudes!
18-19, 21 Farmer of the Year. The Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., hosts screenings of the 'coming-of-again' comedy-drama Farmer of the Year, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 3:30 p.m. Sunday. 19-20 NIHSA Drone Races and Workshop. The North Idaho High School Aerospace Program (NIHSAP) and Spokane FPV drone racing league sponsors two drone events in Sandpoint. The first event is Friday night during halftime of the Sandpoint High School Bulldog football game when the Spokane FPV league puts on a drone racing exhibition. The main event will be Saturday at the SHS Gym when both groups sponsor a workshop and professional drone races. The workshop is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and features displays, training, and hands-on experience with drones as well as an opportunity to fly one. And from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Spokane FPV will put on a professional drone race demonstration. These events are intended to inspire interest in the aerospace industry for kids grades 6-12. NIHSA already has active programs featuring hands-on building of aircraft and flight training. Free family event, but program donations welcomed. 20 Native Heritage Film Series - United By Water. Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St., hosts the Native Heritage Film Series with screenings at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Community Room. This free popular series returns with films that highlight Native American issues and culture. This month's film, United by Water, documents the inspiring journey of local tribal communities to Kettle Falls, the fishing site of their ancestors, for the first time in 80 years. Narrated by Sherman Alexie, it is a film about reconnecting with tribal traditions and with the river that once was so integral to their way of life. 208-263-6930

20 Live Music at the 219. Spokane-based singer songwriter Lindsay Johnston, accompanied by her drummer, performs from 9 p.m. to midnight at the 219 Lounge, 219 N. First Ave. She first performed at the 219 leading the blues-rock band Donna Donna, and is now taking on her first solo performance in over three years with a more mellow approach. Donning the moniker Vannah Oh!, Johnston blends folk, jazz, and blues to create a set of original tunes and surprising covers. 21 Refugee Children's Choir Performance. First Presbyterian Church, 417 N. Fourth Ave., presents a concert at 10:30 a.m. featuring The Living Sacrifice Christian Ministry Choir of Spokane during their Sunday worship service. This youth choir is made up of children - refugees from countries in Africa, Sudan, Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, South Africa, and Tanzania - who range in age from 10 to 17 years old. The community is invited to come join in the music, dance, and the joy of youth.
21 Piano Sunday. Pend d'Oreille Winery, 301 Cedar St., hosts Piano Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. featuring live piano music with Scott Kirby. Free and open to the public.
21 Danny Barnes Concert. Di Luna's Cafe, 207 Cedar St., hosts Danny Barnes in concert at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. for dinner (served before the show with reservations, 208-263-0846). Barnes is the 2015 winner of the Steve Martin Prize for excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, and is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and genre-bending artists of his craft. 27 Day of the Dead Party. Evans Brothers Coffee and Matchwood Brewing Co. host the first annual Day of the Dead Party at The Granary. The event opens with a Community Altar - bring pictures, candles, and offerings to honor and celebrate our ancestors and loved ones. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Matchwood Brewery hosts a full food menu, face painting, sugar skulls, kids arts and crafts, and a screening of the movie Coco. The Los Flacos Band from Seattle performs their Latin music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Matchwood, followed by a community procession from Matchwood to Evans Brothers with dance performances. And at 9 p.m., it's the Dio de Los Muerte dance party with special guest DJ Boomerang all the way from Tampa, Fla.
