18, 20 Annie the Musical. The local production of Annie, featuring more than 60 local actors, singers, and dancers, continues for a second week in the Sandpoint High School auditorium. This tour de force charmed audiences during its first weekend of performances, and the hit Broadway musical includes classic songs including \"The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow\" and \"It's A Hard Knock Life.\" In addition to the performers, local students also created and built the sets, props, costumes, make-up and more backstage. Annie is directed by Jeannie Hunter, with Musical Director Jon Brownell, Choreographer Becky Lucas, and Costumer Angie Aller. 18 Sandpoint Community Sing. Community singing is the timeless ritual of coming together with others to co-create a rich musical experience through voice. Sandpoint Community Sing is a 90-minute weekly journey of songs about nature, life, love, emotions, gratitude, activism, peace and the overall human experience. Songs are taught in the oral tradition of call and response. No experience necessary. Come with a desire to use your voice, learn songs, and connect joyfully through singing with others. The Panida's Little Theater on First Avenue hosts a screening of Chasing Coral at 7 p.m. Presented by the Sandpoint Outdoor Adventure Club, Chasing Coral is a documentary film which follows a team of divers and scientists who photograph the phenomena of coral bleaching in the world's oceans. 19 Patrice Webb Trio. Celebrating the release of Patrice Webb's new CD \"In My Sentimental Dreaming\" with a concert at DiLuna's Cafe at 7:30 p.m. The original songs pay tribute to the swing and acoustic blues of the '20s, '30s and '40s, resulting in a multi-colored musical stew featuring '40s western swing, \"barefoot gypsy jazz,\" honky tonkin' country and bluegrass, and folk.
