The photographer wrote: "The loss of useful vision in one eye (and the threat of same in its partner) has made me acutely aware of things that I used to pass by. This simple, yet elegant application of skim ice to the surface of a puddle caught my attention. It made me feel like a kid again." Taken Dec. 13.
