Sandpoint High class of 1985 announces reunion
SANDPOINT--The Sandpoint High School (SHS) class of 1985 is celebrating its 30th reunion during the weekend of July 10-12. A fun-filled weekend is planned that includes something for everyone. It begins with an All-year Reunion Event at MickDuff’s Brewing Co. Beer Hall, 220 Cedar St. in Sandpoint, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., including appetizers. Every class that graduated from Sandpoint High School is welcome to join and reminisce about the experience of growing up in Sandpoint and attending SHS.
The class of 1985 will begin its day of celebration Saturday morning, July 11, with the Family Ice Cream Social at Sandpoint City Beach from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Classmates and their families are invited. Bring your own chairs or blankets and enjoy ice cream at the beach. The gathering will be near the pier at the southeast end of the beach, where the Statue of Liberty replica sits. That evening, classmates and their guests will enjoy a catered dinner at Dish Café at Dover Bay, 651 Lakeshore Dr. in Dover, at 6 p.m.
“We want as many class members as we can locate to attend the party,” said Tamara (Tami Press) Poelstra, who is heading the reunion. “Please help us find more of our classmates!”
Enjoy the evening visiting with your old classmates from 30 years ago. Catch up on what they have been doing, their careers, what they do for fun, their travels, their children and grandchildren. Enjoy a specially prepared dinner at this beautiful location and an after-dinner dance with a DJ at a classmate’s private home in the pastoral Selle Valley.
“It is an evening to enjoy and remember the good old days and renew some old friendships,” Poelstra said.
