Volunteers, donations sought for Panida fundraiser
Play it Again to benefit scholarship funds

Sandpoint, Idaho–With spring cleaning and garage sales season under way, the Panida Theater is holding its 22nd annual music and video/film swap and shop, Play It Again, which coincides with the downtown Sandpoint Crazy Days sale on Saturday, July 26.

The Play it Again swap will be located in the front of the Panida, 300 N. First Ave., during Crazy Days from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theater is seeking volunteers at 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. for an hour each to help set up all the wonderful  records, CDs, DVDs and other donations.

The fundraiser is an opportunity to “lighten your load,” according to the theater's staff. The Panida is accepting donations for recycled CDs/DVDs/records/VHS/audiobooks, cassettes and equipment -- items that may be treasures for others.

Proceeds from the “Play it Again” Music and Film swap will benefit the Laurel Wagers/Panida Theater annual high school scholarship for a student interested in pursuing a college education in performance arts – music, theater, film, dance or tech.

Music of all kinds, DVD/VHS and other goods will be sold at low prices, according to theater staff.

The Panida Theater is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible. The Panida acknowledges donations in writing, as needed. For more information, call the Panida Theater at 208 255-7801.
