Meyers sell Pend d'Oreille Winery
New owners Bopp, Kramer-Presta
SANDPOINT, ID--Julie and Stephen Meyer announce the passing of the winemaking baton to Jim Bopp and Kylie Kramer-Presta after 32 years of winemaking. Steve and Julie have held on to Pend d'Oreille Winery for the last 22 years. As winemaker Steve announced he is ready to pass it on to the new winemaking team of Jim and Kylie.
Jim has worked for the Meyers for the last 10 years and he is ready to start carving out his own winemaking legacy for the North Idaho wine market. Kylie began working for the team five years ago, and she is a quick learner as well as a skilled lab technician. Kylie also works in the cellar and participates in tasting the upcoming vintages with Jim.
The tasting room will remain at the Belwood 301 building and will be open daily. And on Friday and Saturday nights, there is always something special going on into the evening.
Production is being done on North Boyer; it is a dream of Steve and Julie's to have the production out at the Boyer Winery.
