Panhandle Bluesfest
Celebrating a decade of incredible live music, the 10th Annual Panhandle Bluesfest takes over its brand-new venue at Wendy and Whitey's Wooded Acres at 2888 Freeman Lake Road in Oldtown, Idaho from September 10-13, offering four full days of blues, community, and rustic outdoors. Gates officially open Thursday, Sept. 10 at noon and remain open through Sunday, Sept. 13 at noon, kicking off an expanded weekend packed with lively open mic sessions and a star-studded main stage roster. The weekend heats up on Friday with live sets from Iron and Ivory, Meghan Sullivan, and Meat Sweatz, before building to Saturday's explosive lineup featuring ManeyAxe, Justyn Priest, Sammy Eubanks, and the Bobby Patterson Band. Tickets are $26.36 and can be purchased ahead of time, as this remains a cash-only event once you arrive on-site for vendors and concessions. Hamnet (Movie)
Directed by Chloe Zhao and based on Maggie O'Farrell's acclaimed 2020 novel, the 2025 historical drama Hamnet offers a poignant exploration into the domestic life of William Shakespeare, played by Paul Mescal, and his wife Agnes, portrayed by Jessie Buckley. Set against the backdrop of 1590s England, the narrative follows their early romance, William's growing artistic pursuits in London, and the devastating loss of their eleven-year-old son, Hamnet, to the plague. The Lady with All the Answers (Play)
LPO Rep presents The Lady with All the Answers at The Hive, 207 N. First Ave., for three performances starting Friday, September 11, running through Sunday, September 13. Written by David Rambo and starring Kate McAlister, this funny, heartfelt, and deeply human one woman play follows legendary advice columnist Ann Landers in her Chicago apartment on a pivotal night in 1975. As she races against a looming deadline, the iconic writer who gave candid, witty, and compassionate counsel to millions must confront a deeply personal question in her own life, offering audiences a captivating behind the scenes look at the woman whose words helped shape generations of Americans. Art Alive
Join Sandpoint Area Seniors Incorporated for Art Alive on Saturday, September 12 at the Panida Little Theater, located at 300 N. First Ave. Doors open for this General Admission event at 4:45 p.m., starting a unique general audience evening that celebrates creativity, community, and connection.
