Empty Bowl
Join this fundraiser for the Bonner Community Food Bank at the Marigold Bistro, 414 Church St. on Friday, March 6. There is a suggested $20 donation at the door and cash or check is preferred, credit accepted. Lunch with include a choice of soup (with three to choose from) with a keepsake bowl, bread, dessert, and a silent auction. 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by Marigold Bistro, Spud's Waterfront Grill, Winter Ridge Natural Foods Market, and the Selkirk Association of Realtors. Thanks also to the SHS art students for making the beautiful bowls.

The Follies
The Angels Over Sandpoint celebrate 21 years with its annual raunchy variety show, returning to the stage for two nights at 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a two-hour, R-rated show packed with irreverent performances and over-the-top entertainment. This adults-only fundraiser invites the community to laugh out loud while supporting Angels Over Sandpoint's mission of helping those in need. And this year is something special, with "a farewell to the Queen" as longtime Mistress of Ceremonies Kate McAlister retires from the stage ... with select words and observations, no doubt! Two shows to choose from, Friday, March 6 or Saturday, March 7. Doors open one hour before the show, with a limited number of $50 VIP tickets available each night offering early entry at 6:30 p.m. (regular doors open time is 7:00 p.m.) This show is not for the easily offended. It's always a sell-out, so get tickets online in advance at Panida.org.

Annual Gun 'n Horn Show
The Bonner County Fairgrounds, 4203 N. Boyer, hosts their annual event the first full weekend in March. Check it out from Friday, March 6 thru Sunday, March 8. Admission is $5, and kids 11 and under are free. Buy, sell, and trade guns, hunting accessories, knives, hides, taxidermy, and more. The show is open on Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Every year at the Gun 'n Horn Show there is a raffle fundraiser. Normally the one winner walks away with a great rifle with scope. This year two additional prizes are being added for participants to win: a beautiful wooden vase and leather conceal carry bag.
