2 Celebration of Life: Remembering Children. Bonner General Community Hospice invites you to join for a heartfelt Celebration of Life, honoring and remembering children who have left us too soon. 6 Summer Kickoff: Color Fun Run. Join at Travers Park, 2016 Pine St. for a .5-mile fun, untimed, family color run featuring optional color spraying stations and community activities. 10 a.m. to noon.

6 Hands on History. Join at the Bonner County History Museum, 611 Ella starting at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. Enjoy historical crafts for kids of all ages, and free entry to the museum.

6 Live Music with Dominick Antonelli. Join in at Eichardt's, 212 Cedar St. Dominick is on his first national tour and will be playing an evening of original music. 7 p.m.

11 Heightened Scrutiny Screening. Check out a free special screening of the film Heightened Scrutiny at the Sandpoint United Methodist Church, 711 Main St. at 6 p.m. The film follows civil rights lawyer Chase Strangio as he prepares to present his case to the Supreme Court for transgender adolescents' right to access to gender-affirming healthcare. The film confronts both the legal system and the media landscape that distorts public perception and threatens the struggle for trans rights. Brought to you by the Bonner County Human Rights Task Force and the Sandpoint Alliance for Equality.

12 POAC ArtWalk. Join POAC's annual Art Walk. Local artisans, galleries, and business owners throughout downtown Sandpoint collaborate each summer for an event designed to showcase all that our unique town has to offer. ArtWalk gives artist members and other local artists a chance to exhibit their work and encourages all ages to explore this free city-wide event. ArtInSandpoint.org.

13 Find Your Strength 5k & 1k. Join for the annual Find Your Strength Family Fun Run. The Bonner General Health Foundation is hosting a community 5k/1k beginning and ending at the City Beach. 13 Daddy Daughter Dance. Join at SAGA Gymnastics, 101 McGhee Rd. from 4-7 p.m. Attire is formal, so wear your beast with your child aged 3-12. $35/pair + $10 for additional daughters. This is a fundraising event and will have drinks and snacks, an ice cream parlor, professional photos, games and prizes.

13 Snacks at Midnight FAS Fundraiser. Join at the Hive, 207 N. First Ave. for this 21+ concert fundraiser celebrating the conclusion of the Festival's 2026 online silent auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with music to start at 7:30 p.m. with Spokane indie rock band Snacks at Midnight. 13-14 Schweitzer Community Day & Summer Opening Day. Schweitzer's summer season kicks off with village activities and scenic chairlifts. Come up for hiking, biking, and exploring! 20 CHAFE 150. Sandpoint Rotary presents the Annual CHAFE 150 Gran Fondo, named one of the top charity rides in the U.S.! The ride takes place in Sandpoint, Idaho, the "Most Beautiful Small Town in the USA." The 150 mile route is a grand loop around the Cabinet Mountains. CHAFE offers magnificent 100, 80, 40, and 30 mile routes, and a family fun ride for riders of any level! 26 Sandpoint Senior Center Monthly Breakfast Fundraiser. Join for this monthly fundraiser on the last Friday of each month. Wendy Franck of The Hoot Owl will be the guest chef and will make her famous biscuits and gravy, along with other classic breakfast options. 30 IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild. This event returns to Schweitzer Mountain from 3 to 4:30 p.m., featuring pianist Hunter Noack performing on a 9-foot Steinway grand with audio delivered via wireless headphones as guests take in scenic mountain views. Access to the site requires a chairlift ride (last ride down at 5 p.m.) or a strenuous 2.5-mile hike. Bring low-back chairs or blankets, and feel free to pack a picnic or purchase food onsite. This all-ages outdoor concert takes place rain or shine; no dogs or smoking allowed, and tickets are nonrefundable unless canceled. Get more information here.
