Here's what's coming in November...

8 Warren Miller Sno-Ciety. Join at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave. at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) for Sandpoint's kick-off to the ski season. Warren Miller's 76th film, Sno-ciety comes to the Panida Theater from the Scottish Highlands and the streets of Finland to the back bowls of Whitewater, BC, and a local hill-turned-terrain park in urban Denver, Warren Miller's Sno-ciety celebrates the spirit of winter. The independence ski team will be at the show with a silent auction of ski related items to raise funds for their local ski team. Get tickets and more information at panida.org.

15 $5 Movie: Moonrise Kingdom. The Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., presents The Wes Anderson Series starting with 2012's Moonrise Kingdom. Set in 1965 on the island of New Penzance off the coast of New England, the community seems untouched by the troubles of the outside world. Twelve-year-olds Sam and Suzy fall in love and decide to run away, but a violent storm approaches, prompting a group of quirky adults to organize a search party to find them before disaster strikes. 22 Kendal Mountain Film Fest. Join in at the Panida, 300 N. First Ave. at 7 p.m. an take part in Britain's version of another very popular film festival. There will be seven new films this year with a British twist from kayaking, mountain culture, adventure, and sport. The Kendal Mountain Tour is a growing film festival that provides great entertainment for mountain towns like ours. Get tickets at panida.org.

7 $5 Movie: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. The Panida Theater, 300 N. First Ave., presents Wes Anderson Series featuring The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou played by Bill Murray has sworn vengeance on the rare shark that devoured a member of his crew. Joined by his regular team, Ned played by Owen Wilson who believes Zissou is his father, and Jane played by Cate Blanchett a journalist pregnant by a married man, they travel the sea encountering pirates and confronting figures from Zissou's past including his estranged wife Eleanor played by Anjelica Huston.
