Why are you running for public office?

I am running for public office because I believe we need to do better for Idaho Families. My Core Belief is "If it is good for Idaho Families it is good for Idaho".

If you are elected, how much time will you spend each week in the office?

If elected I will give 110% to this most important job. I have been blessed with good health and a strong work ethic. I believe strongly that Public Service means just that - SERVICE.

Describe the top three to five issues you believe are most important, why you consider them most important, and your position on these issues.

My top five issues are:

  1. FREEZE Homeowner property taxes at the purchase price
  2. ELIMINATE the sales tax on groceries
  3. DEDICATE the 1% sales tax to EDUCATION
  4. ENSURE that public lands remain PUBLIC
  5. REMOVE lobbyist money from campaigns

What differentiates you from other candidates? Why should people vote for you?

The differences between me and my opponent are significant:

  1. She voted repeatedly to give millions of Idaho taxpayer dollars to out-of-state millionaires with "vacation homes" in Idaho, and to huge corporations like Phillip Morris, Avista, Quest, Pfizer Drug, etc.
  2. She did NOTHING to eliminate the grocery sales tax
  3. She voted repeatedly to put the sales tax in the "General Fund"
  4. She supports the politician who voted to sell 5 million acres of Idaho public lands
  5. She receives 80% of her campaign money from lobbyists

We can do MUCH better for Idaho Families. Please join me in putting Families FIRST!
