This Week in Sandpoint

Sandpoint shines! The week begins Wed, Sept. 24 with the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce After Hours, an evening of networking, appetizers, drinks, and door prizes while learning about the Festival at Sandpoint's year-round programs. On Thurs, Sept. 25, the What's Happening Up North Economic Summit offers a full day of panels, presentations, and discussions on rural economic growth, followed that evening by the Voices in the Wilderness Wild Mic Takeover, where participants share songs, stories, and poems celebrating public lands. Fri, Sept. 26 brings both the Pend Oreille Arts Council's season-opening concert with pianist Sean Bostrom and a family-friendly Barn Dance and Silent Auction supporting children in Kenya. Wrapping up the week, 88.5 KRFY launches its Online Auction on Sat, Sept. 27, running through Oct. 5 with unique items and experiences to bid on in support of community radio.
